Ableton Live 12.1 is in public beta, featuring major additions to Push, improvements for keyboard and screen reader functionality, a new Drum Sampler, and a pitch tracking and correction device. The Drum Sampler, a new instrument for playing one-shot samples in Drum Racks, offers various features including amplitude envelope, transpose and detuning capabilities, a filter section, and a playback FX section. Although worth trying out, the copy advises that this beta version should not be used for live performances or crucial tasks.
